Powers 15 L. Mulligan Single Grocer Cask. Image courtesy L. Mulligan Grocer. This single pot still Irish Whiskey comes from an ex-Bourbon barrel, and was bottled exclusively for Dublin’s L. Mulligan Grocer pub.  The nose is warm with notes of mulled wine spices, soft oak, honey, and a hint of toffee. The taste has classic single pot still spices with clove, a hint of black pepper, and nutmeg along with toffee, soft oak, and honey in the background. The spices fade gently away on the finish with a touch of toffee and a subtle oakiness. Excellent! (November, 2018)
