Port Ellen Provenance 21

Country: Scotland

Region: Islay

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Douglas Laing & Co.

ABV: 46%

Score: 95 Points

This 1982 Port Ellen has a subtle nose with a whiff of peat, wood smoke, and roasted hazelnuts. The taste starts off soft at first, and the smokiness rolls in with a nice campfire touch and touches of fruits and nuts. The finish lingers with soft smokiness. Outstanding.
