This year’s Parker’s Heritage Collection release is a 10-year-old cask-strength rye whiskey. The nose has touches of baking spices, molasses cookies, and old leather. The taste has a nice balance of fruitiness and spicy character, with cinnamon and clove complemented by black cherries, red apples, and a hint of apricots. The finish is long with gently fading spices. Excellent! (August, 2023)
