Orphan Barrel Forager's Keep. Image courtesy Diageo. This is the first Scotch Whisky for Diageo’s Orphan Barrel brand, and it’s a 26-year-old single malt from the long-closed Pittyvaich Distillery in Speyside. The nose is fruity with notes of red apples, peaches, oranges, vanilla, and honey. The taste has a good balance of spices and sweetness with clove, coriander, and a hint of white pepper balanced by apples, vanilla, and oak. The finish is long and sweet with hints of spices and oak.
