Old Forester 100 Proof Rye. Image courtesy Old Forester/Brown-Forman.This is the first rye whiskey ever bottled under the Old Forester label, and the nose is aromatic and spicy with baking spices, caramel, vanilla, and hints of honey. The taste is spicy with intense notes of clove, cinnamon, allspice, and a hint of ginger that last and last, then eventually fade slowly to reveal touches of caramel candy and vanilla that form the basis for a gentle, smooth finish.
