Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond Fall 2018 Edition
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 50%
Score: 92 Points
This is the second 2018 release in the Old Fitzgerald Bottled in Bond series, and comes from heated Bourbon distilled in the fall of 2008 bottled just short of ten years old. The nose has notes of honey, charred oak, cocoa beans, vanilla, and a hint of molasses. The taste starts off with a hint of caramel cola followed by a burst of black pepper and touches of vanilla, honey, and cherries. The finish is long with gently fading spices and a soft sweetness in the background. Very nice! (August, 2018)
