This 5-year-old annual release is peated to 108.2 parts per million of phenols and matured in a combination of 72% first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels and 28% recharred ex-Bourbon barrels. The nose is peaty and phenolic with creosote, heather, honey, and dried flowers. The taste is peppery and smoky with chili powder and cinnamon on top of peat smoke, heather, honey, toffee, and a hint of grilled pineapple. The finish is long with grilled pineapple, peat smoke, and touches of heather and brine. (August, 2024)
