This is one of the eight whiskies in Diageo’s Game of Thrones Single Malt Scotch Whisky Collection created to mark the final season of Game of Thrones. The whisky itself carries no age statement, but the nose has subtle hints of black cherries, orange marmalade, oak, and a touch of honey in the background. The taste has notes of toasted caramel, hot fudge, a subtle touch of charred oak, and hints of dried fruits. The finish is long and warm with lingering spices, charred oak, and toasted caramel.
