This is the no-age-statement Yoichi expression replacing Nikka’s previous range of age-statement Yoichi Distillery expressions during 2015 and 2016 worldwide. The nose is malty with fresh berries, brown sugar, honey, butterscotch, and a soft oakiness. The taste starts off buttery-smooth, then turns spicy with white pepper and chili powder on top of sweeter butterscotch and honey notes. The finish is long and warming with lingering spices.
