Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 48.5%

Score: 93 Points

Nc’Nean Distillery names its Quiet Rebels expressions for individual members of the distillery team, and the casks for this expression were selected by distillery manager Gordon Wood, with a combination of 75% STR wine casks and the remainder Rivesaultes wine casks. The nose has touches of crème brûlée, plums, apricots, and orange marmalade. The taste is thick and creamy with white pepper, plums, vanilla, orange marmalade, and honey notes, while the finish is long and fruity with a lingering spiciness. Very nice. (February, 2024)
