For the third release in Milam & Greene’s Unabridged series of cask-strength, unfiltered whiskies, master blender Heather Greene selected six different Bourbons from Texas, Kentucky, and Tennessee aged between 3 1/2 and 10 years. The result is a Bourbon with a nose of honeysuckle, old leather, brown sugar, oak, and tobacco. The taste is sweet, dry, and spicy with cinnamon and chili powder notes on top of créme brûlée, chocolate, and marzipan. The finish is long and spicy with a gentle sweetness underneath. Very nice!
