As with the original 2022 release, this Unabridged Bourbon is a blend of straight Bourbons from Kentucky, Tennessee, and Milam & Greene’s own Texas-distilled whiskey. The Texas and Kentucky Bourbons were distilled using malted rye in the mashbill, which gives an extra degree of flavor. The nose has notes of sandalwood, cardamom, honey, vanilla, figs, and a hint of cherry pipe tobacco. The taste is peppery and oaky with touches of black pepper, cloves, cardamom, oak tannins, dark chocolate, and black cherries. The finish is long with lingering spices and oak tannins.
