This 15-year-old Bourbon was originally distilled and matured in Tennessee, them spent its final five months in the Texas Hill Country at Milam & Greene’s rickhouse. The nose has notes of red apples, nutmeg, dried fruits, a hint of oak tannins, honey, and almonds. The taste is spicy and astringent with cinnamon, black pepper, and a hint of clove balanced by oak tannins, black cherries, and almond oil. The finish is long and oaky with a touch of black cherries and lingering spices. Very complex! (December, 2023)
