Type: Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 53%

Score: 97 Points

This 50-year-old Single Pot Still whiskey represents the final barrels of whiskey left from the Old Midleton Distillery, which closed in 1975. The nose has touches of lemon zest, baking spices, Manuka honey, and dried flowers. The taste is fruity, vibrant, and almost effervescent with notes of pear candies, a hint of lemon zest, baking spices, red apples, honey, and a hint of ginger. The finish is long, fruity, and vibrant. Outstanding! (May, 2025)
