Midleton Very Rare 2018 Edition
Country: Ireland
Region:
Type: Irish Whiskey
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 40%
Score: 94 Points
The 2018 edition of this classic Irish Whiskey comes from a variety of single pot still and single grain whiskies matured in lightly-charred ex-Bourbon barrels for between 12 and 28 years. The nose is fruity with peaches, red apples, pears, honey, and a hint of vanilla. The taste is creamy, fruity, and tart with red apples, lemon zest, hints of white pepper and allspice, and a touch of vanilla. The finish is long, creamy, and fruity. Excellent as always!
