Master Distiller Barry Crockett’s 1996 edition of Midleton Very Rare has dried flowers on the nose, along with a hint of citrus and shortbread cookies. The taste is fruity and floral with mango, papaya, and a hint of orange peel balanced by dried flowers and subtle pot still spices. The finish is long with a fruity tartness. Outstanding!
