Michter’s doesn’t always release a 10-year-old single barrel Bourbon every year, but this year’s edition has caramel on the nose along with oak tannins, dried fruits, and a hint of leather. The taste has a nice balance of cherries, black pepper, honey, dried fruits, and a touch of oak tannins. The finish is long, dry, astringent, and peppery. Very nice. (April, 2024)
