Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon. Image courtesy Michter's. This single barrel Bourbon comes from an undisclosed distillery produced under the supervision of Michter’s master distiller Willie Pratt. The nose is rich and aromatic with notes of pipe tobacco, brown sugar, honey, dark chocolate, and soft spices. The taste is thick and chewy with good cinnamon and clove spices, honey, oak, molasses, and caramel candy notes. A few drops of water brings out notes of tree fruits and accentuates the honey. The finish is long and smooth with gently fading spices and a hint of grilled peaches in the background. (April, 2016)
