This single pot still whiskey from Irish Distillers was first matured in a combination of ex-Sherry and American Oak casks, then finished in French Chestnut casks. The nose has dry spices, chestnut wood, baked apples, and cinnamon bark. The taste is dominated by cinnamon spiciness with touches of baked apples and honey underneath. The finish is long and spicy.
