Country: Ireland

Region:

Type: Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46%

Score: 93 Points

This single pot still Irish whiskey started out in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in virgin Garryana Oak casks from the U.S. Pacific Northwest. The nose has touches of apples, raisins, molasses, subtle spices, and a nice maltiness. The taste has notes of black pepper, toasted oak, coffee cake, barley sugar, and a hint of clove. The finish is long and malty with a hint of clove. Nice! (March, 2024)
