This whisky was an award winner in the 2013 Canadian Whisky Awards. The nose is spicy with hints of clove, allspice, and cinnamon, a touch of orange peel, and a mild oakiness. The taste is thick and spicy with cinnamon, black pepper, honey, brown sugar, and a hint of orange peel. There’s a good lingering finish with hints of cinnamon and orange peel, along with a slight bitterness. (December, 2013)
