MacPhail’s Collection Highland Park 8
Country: Scotland
Region: Highlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Gordon & MacPhail
ABV: 43%
Score: 91 Points
This Gordon & MacPhail bottling of Highland Park has a malty and fruity nose with notes of red apples, ginger, allspice, a touch of butterscotch candies, and a hint of lemon furniture polish underneath. The taste is fruity and thick with a good balance of spices and a touch of smoke. Clove, grilled pineapple, mango, ginger, and a hint of dark chocolate complement the maltiness nicely. The finish is long with lingering spices and a touch of oak. (May, 2017)
