This Canadian rye whisky was finished in Port wine casks, and the result is a whisky with a jammy nose full of rich fruits, brown sugar, honey, and molasses. The taste has notes of Christmas cake, red grapes, and subtle spicy notes of cardamom, clove, and allspice. The finish is nice and long with dried fruits and lingering spices. Excellent!
