This whiskey blends peated American Single Malts from Colorado, Iowa, and Oregon to create a whiskey worthy of Islay, with a nose of iodine, creosote, and tar along with an underlying sweetness of honey, vanilla, and caramel. The taste is peaty and pungent with black pepper, honey, and vanilla notes, while he finish is long and peppery. Very nice! (January, 2025)
