Country: USA

Region: Mississippi

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Lost Lantern

ABV: 70%

Score: 89 Points

This Lost Lantern bottling comes from the closed Rich Grain Distilling Co. in Canton, Mississippi, and is a blend of 5 and 7 year old Bourbons. The nose has touches of caramel, cocoa, graham crackers, burnt popcorn, and toasted oak. The taste is dry and astringent with notes of clove and cinnamon balanced by dark chocolate, oak tannins, a hint of molasses, and brown sugar. The finish is long and dry. (August, 2024)
