Bottler: Lost Lantern Whiskey

ABV: 60.8%

Score: 93 Points

This Lost Lantern bottling blends 4-year-old rye whiskies from distilleries in Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, and Wisconsin. The nose has touches of baking spices, rye bread, a soft oakiness, honeycomb, and hints of vanilla and molasses cookies. The taste is led by clove and cinnamon spices balanced by caramel, honey, tree fruits, and a touch of oak with a thick and syrupy mouthfeel. The finish is long and dry with lingering spices. Very nice! (March, 2024)
