This is the debut whiskey for Freddie Noe, the son of Jim Beam’s Fred Noe and grandson of the legendary distiller Booker Noe. In fact, “Little Book” was the nickname Booker Noe gave Freddie as a young boy. Freddie created this whiskey from four different uncut and unfiltered whiskies: a four-year-old straight Bourbon, along with six-year-old rye and malt whiskies and a 13-year-old corn whiskey.

The nose is aggressive with allspice and a subtle hint of black pepper, but well-balanced with brown sugar, caramel, pipe tobacco, and charred oak notes. The taste has a good balance of spices, with cinnamon, black pepper, and allspice dominating the palate at first. The spices fade to reveal vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate, and a hint of licorice. The finish has lingering spicy notes floating over mouthwatering caramel and dark chocolate notes. An excellent debut that Booker would be proud of! (August, 2017)
