Legacy Small Batch
Country: Canada
Region:
Type: Canadian Whisky
Bottler: Sazerac
ABV: 40%
Score: 85 Points
This Canadian Whisky comes from Sazerac, and blender Drew Mayville has created a whisky with a nose of ginger root, hints of hazelnut and molasses, brown sugar, and a touch of maple. The taste has notes of caramel, ginger root, and a nice subtle touch of cinnamon that doesn’t overpower the other flavors, while vanilla, and brown sugar add balance in the background. The cinnamon spice lingers nicely through the finish. (June, 2017)
