Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye. Image courtesy Beam Suntory. This is a limited-edition 9-year-old rye whiskey from one of Jim Beam’s oldest warehouses, and it’s uncut and unfiltered. The nose has good spices balanced by honey, brown sugar, caramel candy, and vanilla notes. The taste is thick, oily, and spicy with black pepper, clove, and cinnamon balanced by honey and caramel notes in the background. The finish is long and spicy with a hint of honey. Excellent!
