This Bourbon was first released as a limited edition in 2019, and became a permanent part of the Knob Creek range in 2020. The nose has notes of brown sugar, honey, muted spices, and hints of charred oak and leather. The taste has a good balance of oak tannins, black pepper, cocoa powder, honey, leather, and a hint of molasses. The finish is is long and well-balanced with slowly fading spices, dark chocolate, honey, and a hint of oak. (May, 2020)
