King of Kentucky Bourbon 2020 Edition
Country: USA
Region: Kentucky
Type: Bourbon
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 65.3%
Score: 94 Points
Brown-Forman’s annual release of its premium King of Kentucky Bourbon is 14 years old, and yes, there’s some wood on the nose – but it’s balanced by cherry cobbler sweetness, vanilla, hints of tree fruits, caramel, and a subtle touch of spearmint. The taste has oak tannins balanced by caramel, clove and cinnamon spices, vanilla, and hints of cherries, tobacco, and honey. The finish is subtle and slightly astringent with touches of oak, cherries, and lingering spices. Excellent! (September, 2020)
