This isn’t a flavored whiskey, but the flavors come from the PX Sherry and dark rum casks used for maturation. The 5-year-old whiskey has a nose full of molasses, toffee, figs, and dates for a bright, complex aroma. The taste is thick and creamy with subtle hints of clove and allspice along with molasses cookies, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long with lingering spices and touches of molasses and toffee.
