Keeper’s Heart 21 Year

Country: Ireland

Region:

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: O'Shaughnessy Distilling

ABV: 48.5%

Score: 94 Points

This 21-year-old Irish single malt originally started out at Cooley Distillery, but Keeper’s Heart master distiller Brian Nation decided to finish it in Tokaji wine casks for the final 14 months of maturation. The nose has touches of red grapes, baking spices, raspberries, and a fruity and floral character. The taste is tart and peppery with white pepper, lemon zest, red grapes, and baking spices. The finish has sweet touches of raspberries and dried fruits along with lingering spices. Excellent! (April, 2024)
