This Kavalan single malt was matured in a combination of Oloroso, PX, and Moscatel wine casks, and the nose is fruity with touches of raisins, dates, figs, and honey. The taste is equally fruity with a kick of cinnamon spice balanced by raisins, figs, dates, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and well-balanced between fruitiness and spicy character. Excellent!
