This Kavalan ex-Bourbon cask was bottled for the Loch & Key Society at Julio’s Liquors in Westborough, Massachusetts. The nose is sweet with notes of honey, kiwi fruit, papaya, vanilla, caramel candy, banana, and coconut. The taste starts off smooth and creamy, followed by cinnamon and ginger spices, banana, papaya, and hints of vanilla and toasted coconut. The finish is long and smooth with subtle spices, vanilla, banana, and coconut notes. Excellent! (August, 2017)
