This single cask bottling is only available at Kavalan’s visitors center in Yi-Lan and its shops in Taipei, and is bottled at cask-strength. The nose is fruity with notes of orange peel, pineapple, dark honey, molasses, brown sugar, muted spices, and hints of dark fruits. The taste is complex with dark fruits, molasses, cinnamon, allspice, a hint of black licorice, orange peel, and anise. The finish is long and dry with lingering spices, hints of black licorice and anise, and a touch of toasted coconut in the background. (September, 2017)
