Country: Scotland

Region: Highlands

Type: Single Malt

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 40%

Score: 93 Points

This 14-year-old Jura is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and American Rye whiskey casks, and the nose has touches of baking spices, honey, brown sugar, and a touch of brine. The taste is spicy and thick with notes of clove, allspice, and cinnamon, tree fruits, and a hint of sea salt. The finish is long with lingering spices and a hint of brine. Very nice! (June, 2024)
