Johnnie Walker Gold Label

Country: Scotland

Region:

Type: Blended Scotch

Bottler: Diageo

ABV: 40%

Score: 95 Points

I admit to a bias here…Gold Label has been one of my favorite malts for years. The nose is creamy with hints of honey and cinnamon and a subtle touch of pears. The taste is thick and syrupy-smooth, building to a cinnamon and cilantro spiciness that fades to let honey and molasses notes have a turn. The finish is lingering with hints of hazelnut.
