Johnnie Walker A Song of Fire
Country: Scotland
Region:
Type: Blended Scotch Whisky
Bottler: Diageo
ABV: 40.8%
Score: 90 Points
Part of the Game of Thrones range from Johnnie Walker with a blend that emphasizes Caol Ila’s peaty influence. The nose has a good balance with a nice kiss of smoke and touches of dried flowers, honey, and vanilla. The taste starts off with caramel and butterscotch notes, a touch of licorice, and a smokiness that develops slowly with hints of honey, vanilla, and oak tannins in the background. The finish has a long, lingering smokiness with a touch of licorice. (October, 2019)
