Country: USA

Region: Kentucky

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 55.5%

Score: 94 Points

This 15-year-old Bourbon is a travel retail exclusive notable for being the first Jim Beam whiskey with Freddie Noe’s name on the bottle alongside his father Fred’s name. The nose has a good balance of spices, oak, toasted vanilla, caramel candy, and a hint of old leather. The taste is warm and welcoming, gentle at first with touches of caramel and vanilla followed by a burst of spices that comes alive along with notes of baked apples and oak. Adding a few drops of water brings out a touch of chocolate as well. The finish is long with lingering spices, but still well-balanced and excellent. (May, 2021)
