Country: USA

Region: Kentucky

Type: Bourbon

Bottler: Distiller

ABV: 46.5%

Score: 92 Points

This 6-year-old wheated Bourbon is the first of its kind from Jeptha Creed, and is made from a mashbill of 75% Bloody Butcher red corn, 20% malted wheat, and 5% malted barley. The nose has touches of caramel, brown sugar, red apples, and dried fruits. The taste has a nice balance of sweetness and spice as caramel and honey complement white pepper and clove notes while dried fruits provide a nice backdrop. The finish is long and sweet with a kick of spice. (May, 2024)
