Jameson Triple Triple Irish Whiskey. Image courtesy Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard. This travel retail exclusive gets its name from the triple distillation at Ireland’s Midleton Distillery and triple cask maturation in a combination of ex-Bourbon, Sherry, and Malaga wine casks. The nose is fruity and sweet with hints of lemon, green apples, nutmeg, and vanilla. The taste is creamy and smooth with a citrusy tartness and touches of ginger, green apples, and shortbread cookies. The finish is long and tart with a hint of ginger. (March, 2020)
