ABV: 40%

Part of the Fall 2019 series of whiskies in the NHL Alumni Series from J.P. Wiser’s, this whisky honors Hockey Hall of Fame honoured member and Montreal Canadiens legend Yvan Cournoyer. It’s a 12-year-old whisky in honor of Cournoyer’s #12 matured in ex-Bourbon and Virgin Oak casks, with a light, crisp nose full of dried fruits, honey, vanilla, and a slightly floral touch. The taste is fruity and floral with good underlying spices in the background and hints of honey, vanilla, and oak that add complexity and character. The finish is long and vibrant with a hint of citrusy tartness and lingering spices. (January, 2020)
