Series honors Canada’s hockey legacy with unique whiskies created by master blender Dr. Don Livermore and several retired NHL legends, with part of the proceeds from each bottle going to the NHL Alumni Association to help retired players. Livermore created this edition with Toronto legend Wendel Clark, and there’s an Easter egg hidden on the label. The bottling strength for this 11-year-old 100% rye whisky is 41.6%, which coincidentally matches Toronto’s 416 area code.

The nose is oaky and spicy with touches of clove, toasted caramel, and a hint of roast beef juices with hints of orange marmalade and dried fruits in the background. The taste is thick and chewy with black pepper, clove, and allspice balanced by honey and caramel sweetness. The finish is long and well-balanced. Very nice. (December, 2018)
