This is the Shareholder’s Release No. 4 for Gotland Whisky, which is located on Sweden’s Gotland Island in the Baltic Sea. It’s made from 4-6 year old malts matured in Virgin Oak casks, and the nose has notes of linseed oil, old wood, lemon zest, and green tea with honey. The taste is tart and peppery with lemon pepper, linseed oil, honey, vanilla, and a touch of oak. The finish is long and tart. (December, 2019)
