Isle of Lime Ullahau Swedish Single Malt Whisky. Image courtesy Gotland Whisky. This Swedish single malt from Gotland Whisky on Sweden’s Gotland Island is three years old and matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks. The nose is fruity and floral with touches of orange marmalade, violets, freshly-cut grass, dark fruits, and clover honey. The taste is fruity with a slightly herbal character as garden herbs and dried flowers complement orange peel and a hint of linseed oil. The finish is medium-length with a nice fruitiness, dried flowers, and a hint of linseed oil. (July, 2020)
