This is the third public release from Sweden’s Gotland Whisky, and is matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon and new oak barrels. The nose has notes of elderberries, lime, ginger, vanilla, honey, and brown sugar. The taste is dominated by citrus fruits with grapefruit, lime, and lemon tartness balanced by gentle spices, honey, and a hint of oak. The finish is medium-length with a citrusy tartness and lingering spices. (April, 2020)
