Inchmoan 2004 Holy Land Whisky Club Cask #68
Country: Scotland
Region: Lowlands
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 52.4%
Score: 94 Points
Loch Lomond Distillers bottled this peated Inchmoan 14-year-old for Israel’s Holy Land Whisky Club from Cask #68, an ex-Bourbon hogshead. The nose has a gentle peatiness balanced by a good sweetness with notes of grilled fruits, toasted caramel, butterscotch, and a hint of orange marmalade. The taste is smoky and spicy with a good mix of campfire and peat smoke, grilled fruits, and touches of honey and vanilla. The finish is long with lingering spices and campfire smoke. Very nice.
