Highland Park Wings of the Eagle. Image courtesy Highland Park/Edrington.This travel retail exclusive is a 16-year-old single malt matured in Sherry-seasoned casks, and the nose is fruity and sweet with a slight touch of Orkney peat smokiness and notes of mild spices, honey, dried fruits, and oak. The taste is thick and fruity with white pepper, allspice, nutmeg, apples, apricots, and hints of citrus and honey. The finish is long with lingering fruity notes and a hint of oak. (July, 2018)
