Hellyers Road Pinot Noir Cask Finish
Country: Australia
Region: Tasmania
Type: Single Malt
Bottler: Distiller
ABV: 46.2%
Score: 94 Points
Hellyers Road is one of Tasmania’s oldest distilleries, and this version of their Australian single malt is finished in ex-Pinot Noir wine casks to build on Australia’s wine heritage. The nose is fruity and floral with raspberry and strawberry notes, red grapes, a touch of dried flowers, and honey in the background. The taste is rich and fruity with a good spiciness underneath and touches of fresh berries, dried flowers, white pepper, honey, and vanilla. The finish is long and fruity. Very nice! (August, 2019)
